Introducing Deer Oaks, new provider for UA Employee Assistance Program
by Michelle Saport |
Starting July 1, 2017, the University of Alaska will no longer be using the services
of ComPsych. The new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider will be Deer Oaks.
The change from ComPsych Guidance Resources comes after a competitive RFP earlier
this year. The new program features additional face-to-face counseling sessions, increasing
from six to 10 sessions per person, per issue. Deer Oaks has extensive experience
working with public employers and brings some additional features to university employees
and dependents.
Connecting with the Deer Oaks EAP is easy, just call (888) 993-7650 anytime to have your call answered by a licensed clinician. You can also download the iConnectYou app from the App Store or Google Play-just use passcode 124773 to register. You can also log in to the website at deeroakseap.com using your UA username and password to access many online tools and resources, including instant messaging with a work/life consultant through the LiveCONNECT feature.
More information is available in this fact sheet. Human Resources will be scheduling orientation sessions and other informational webinars this fall.
